VR Technology
The majority of Americans have never seen the inside of a nuclear energy power plant. So why not use technology as evergreen as virtual reality to make this happen? I worked with an educational technology company to craft an award-winning VR tour of Southern Company’s first in over 30-year development of Vogtle nuclear power plants 3 & 4. The VR tour allows participants to experience the different parts of the plant and be educated on how they function. Through VR, people were able to see the unique ability of nuclear power to provide domestic energy security in a clean, safe, and reliable manner. This won a Gold Bulldog, Platinum DotComm and it was catalyst for my being honored with PR News Person of the Year for Agency Innovation.
